Haruyuki Shirai’s exhibition will be held based on the concept of creating an exhibition with curators who take on new expressions on a daily basis. The exhibition is curated by Tomoyo Sanbonmatsu, who currently works at The Museum of Modern Art, Kamakura & Hayama and has recently been in charge of “Alec Soth Gathered Leaves” (2022) and “Beyond the visible” (2019). Haruyuki Shirai has been examining the possibilities of photography through unique approaches that create special techniques and situations: a series of works in which real tribes or fictional tribes based on fables or photographic history appear in a forest in the suburbs of Tokyo and a series that records urban landscapes using originally-created devices. Shirai reconceptualizes the context of photographic memory and explores the reproduction of photographs through reconstruction.

学芸に携わり、日々新しい表現と向き合うキュレーターとともに展覧会をつくるコンセプトのもと、第3回目の白井晴幸「景色の光線」を開催致します。本展は、現在神奈川県立近代美術館に勤務し、近年では「アレック・ソス Gathered Leaves」（2022年）、「みえるもののむこう」（2019年）等を担当した三本松倫代氏がキュレーション。白井晴幸氏は、通常のカメラでは排除される歪みやノイズをあえて生じさせる自作のカメラを用い、日常の光景にあるわずかな変化を捉えつつ特異な風景を現しています。

三本松倫代｜SANBONMATSU Tomoyo：1974年生まれ。2003年より神奈川県立近代美術館学芸員。近現代美術を中心に建築や写真の作家も取り上げる。主な企画展に「アレック・ソス Gathered Leaves」（2022年）、「みえるもののむこう」（2019年）、「岡崎和郎　補遺の庭」（2010年）、「畠山直哉　Draftsman’s Pencil」（2007年）、担当展に原田直次郎、村山知義、モホイ＝ナジ、坂倉準三、山口勝弘、桑山忠明、若江漢字、内藤礼の個展など。共訳にボリス・グロイス『アート・パワー』（現代企画室、2017年）。
