Tetsuji Seta creates art medals as if he is keeping a diary by creating medals in a two-layered three-dimensional structure connected using plants, engraving everyday moments.
“Sometimes I wonder if the person I am now and the person I was back then are the same person. (omitted) One time, I noticed that a medal has two sides. I tried recording my respective selves on each side. Perhaps multiple versions of myself exist, and the collective of countless versions is what makes me.”
The multiverse that fits in the palm of a hand is born daily. This exhibition offers a chance to see these representative works all at once.
