An exhibition of Toshiya Motai’s vertical painting series “Vertical.” Even beyond the interrelation between format and the spirit of the paintings, “Vertical” seeks a higher spirit that Motai has been working towards since his first work. In addition, a gallery talk will be held on the 23rd to commemorate the anniversary of the publication of “Toshiya Motai Paintings – The Artworks by Toshiya Motai Vol.2”.

母袋俊也の縦長の絵画シリーズ、〈バーティカル〉の展覧会を開催いたします。母袋が絵画のフォーマート(画面の縦横比・サイズ)と精神性の相関をテーマにするうえで、〈バーティカル〉は高い精神性を求め初期から制作されてきました。〈バーティカル〉だけを取り上げる最初の展示となる本展では、新作と旧作をあわせて展開いたします。また『母袋俊也絵画　母袋俊也作品集Vol.2』(BLUE ART)出版を記念して、23日(土)にはギャラリートークも開催いたします。
