On the lakeshore during harsh winter, the whole area became uniform, powerfully reflecting the light. Yoichi Sano described how facing this location covered in snow and ice was a renewed realization of the existence of the topography and light. Continuing from the private exhibition last time, works will be exhibited from shots of the lakeshore in Okunikko over two winters, in 2020 and 2021.

厳冬の湖畔ではあらゆるものが均一となり強く光を反射していた。雪と氷に覆われたその場に佇むことは、地形と光の存在をあらためて実感することだったと佐野陽一は話します。前回の個展に続き奥日光の湖畔で、2020年と2021年、ふたつの冬に撮影された作品を展示いたします。
