The power pulsing at the root of every phenomenon, continuously moving all. Okuyama’s lines and shapes seem to have captured an instant of that ever-changing, hidden flow. Despite their stillness, their organic quality makes you feel a primordial energy. Okuyama continues to endow this prints with a material sense created through carborundum techniques and richly expressive inks. His method, despite being a form of printmaking, yields but one print.
