Masaru Aikawa has released works based on the themes “Replication” and “The Body” from his college days, and since 2010 has continued to create “CDs” that are complete copies in handwriting and a cappella of rock, heavy metal, and other CD albums focusing on “Replication Art” and “Copyrights/Illegal Copies.” In recent years he has created photographic works showing the situations arising from the development of networks and mobile phones. This exhibition is of photographic works of video game scenes and AI-generated humans as the subjects presented using the light from a projector.

相川勝は多摩美術大学在学中から「複製」と「身体」をテーマにした作品を発表し、2010年からは「複製芸術」や「著作権/違法コピー」等に注目して、ロックやメタル等のCDアルバムを肉筆とアカペラにより完全コピーする《CDs》を制作し続けています。また近年は、ネットワークや携帯端末の発達によって現れる状況を提示する写真作品も制作。本展では、ゲーム上の風景やAIが生成した人物といった被写体をプロジェクターやタブレットから発せられる光によって印画した写真作品を展示します。
