Haruyuki Shirai’s work challenges the fundamental roles and functions of photography. Through his unique techniques, he re-examines the medium itself to explore the possibilities of what it means to see. This exhibition presents works from two series: Panorama, newly created for a group show at the Nerima Art Museum that concluded at the end of September; Rays of the view, captured with a mobile-film slit camera.

もともとの写真が持っていた機能や役割を疑い、独自の技法で写真を考察、見ることの可能性を探究する白井晴幸。 本展では9月末まで参加した練馬区立美術館でのグループ展で撮り下ろした「Panorama」シリーズ、フィルム可動式のスリットカメラで撮影した「Rays of the view」をご紹介します。
