Michiyo Miwa continues to create every day, improving her work through the new techniques she has developed since losing her sight. In addition to works displayed at ARTS MAEBASHI this spring, this exhibition also features her new dog sculpture. Please come and appreciate Miwa’s unique expression of “silence” that she achieves by not sculpting eyes, once considered the lifeblood of each artwork.

変わらず日々制作を続け、目が見えなくなってから生み出した技法とそして作品を高めていく三輪途道。本展では今春のアーツ前橋への出展作に加え犬の新作も展示。作品の命と考えていた目を作らないことで現した「沈黙」、三輪途道にしかできない表現をぜひご高覧ください。
