For the past 10 years, Keisuke Kinoshita has been creating prints and drawings of the scenery around the Tama River near his house. At this exhibition, you will be seeing a piece of work by Kinoshita that comprises 16 different pieces of works from his “Tama River” series from the past 10 years. Before they were turned into one single piece of work, the 16 different pieces of works from “Tama River” series were reprinted on different papers and readjusted for size. These works capture the everyday scenery from an inexhaustible perspective and with a variety of expressive lines. This will be the last exhibition from “Tama River”, and you are invited to join us.

ここ10年ほど、自宅近くの多摩川周辺風景を版画やドローイングで表現してきた木下恵介。本展では、新作も含む最近10年間の“多摩川シリーズ”から16点を選び、紙とサイズを変えて構成した作品など、日常に在る風景を縦横無尽な視点で、そしてさまざまに表情豊かな線によって捉えた作品を展示します。“多摩川シリーズ”最後の展覧会になります。ぜひご高覧ください。
