Taro MORIMOTO May 9 – June 4, 2019
The indoor space reflects the lives of people living there at the same time it actively affects them. Also, Taro Morimoto has pointed out that regardless if he is working indoors or taking a walk outside, he is constantly negotiating with and observing his inner self. The boundaries that demarcate the inside from the outside are unclear, and each is often replaced with the other. Consciousness and emotions fluctuate and evolve in response to what happens before you as well as inside of you. These things are visualized as paintings as you are confronted with images of plants in the room, patterns on the curtains, light from the celestial objects, etc.
